Me, Romina Rivadeneira. I am a professional photographer by trade, and I’ve been shooting weddings throughout the Southeast since 2003.

What, are you saying that I still have my accent? I was born in Venezuela, but I grew up in Southwest Florida. My father, an amazing man, served in the U.S. Army, and he and my Mom moved my family to the States when I was 16.
Photography is not a hobby for me. It’s all I’ve ever wanted to do, especially portraiture. That’s why weddings are a natural fit for me. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from The Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), and I also graduated from the Photography program at The Portfolio Center in Atlanta.
I shot my first wedding in 2003, and I haven’t slowed down since. By design, I only shoot a selective number of weddings each year. I want my couples to feel a connection to me and my work. As a result, I’m happy to say that most of my clients are dear friends to this day. If you’d like a referral, just ask.
I primarily shoot throughout the Southeast, having lived, worked, and made friends in Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville (SC), Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, Fort Myers, Naples, and Miami. I’ve also shot destination weddings as far as Spain and Singapore. Today, my key markets are Atlanta, the Gulf Coast, and South Florida.
My rates start at $2,550. But each wedding varies depending on location, duration, number of guests, whether or not you want rehearsal dinner coverage, wedding albums, etc. In most instances, we’ll get together and tailor a package that best suits your needs and wishes.
My services are first-come, first-served. Contact me as soon as possible to see if I have availability for your wedding date. If I do, you can reserve me and the date with a signed contract and a retainer. Your retainer, or booking fee, will typically be $1,000 to $1,500.
Please remember that when you book me, I often have to turn away other brides who have your same wedding date. Besides, you’ll be at your wedding, and the booking fee ensures that I will be too.
Once you have paid your retainer or booking fee, the remaining balance is split into two payments. The first being due roughly 90 days before your wedding day and the last being due 30 days prior to your wedding day. I require payment in full before your wedding day.
Not a chance. What you see and book, me, is what you get. Often I’ll bring an assistant, but that’s mainly to help carry my heavier equipment. If your wedding is a massive, royal affair, we can discuss having a back-up shooter, but I’ve shot many big weddings all by myself.
I’ve never missed a wedding. [ Knock on wood. ] I never get sick, and when I do it doesn’t slow me down. But, should that day ever come, I would find another able professional photographer that you approve of to take my place. Still, it’s not happening. I want to shoot your wedding!
I can shoot many photography styles, but photojournalistic / documentary / editorial is best for weddings. Your wedding day is a unique and beautiful story that will unfold in its own way, and I’m there to capture every magical chapter.
The sky’s the limit. That means that I’ll capture as many moments as I can. Of course this number will vary depending on factors such as the size of your wedding, the number of guests, and how long you want me to shoot. But in most cases, you can expect anywhere from 400 to 900 edited photos.
Of course, always. We’ll find a beautiful spot and get everyone in your wedding party together to commemorate your big day. With that said, I'll bet you that the shots that happen naturally will be your favorites.
I only deliver edited / enhanced photos. I want you and yours to look your very best. And though it takes me many, many hours, I edit each photo as it needs to be edited. I can’t stand “batch” editing and I’ll never do it. Ever.
Though it’s often misunderstood, and sometimes pitched this way, a “copyright release” does not truly transfer the images copyright to the photographer’s client. The individual who created the art retains the copyright. With that said, you will always have the right to print and share your photos to your heart’s content.
I’ll send you a round of edited teasers about a week after your wedding. Then, depending on my shooting and editing schedule, I’ll typically deliver the rest of your edited photos in 4 to 9 weeks. I say 9 weeks just in case but it’s usually sooner than that. I know you really want them. And I really want you to see them.
I upload everything to an online gallery for easy viewing. And, as is the custom today, I can easily deliver your photos via web transfer.
Sure. I grew up shooting film, and I shot film when I started shooting weddings. And I have a degree in Fine Art Photography so I’m well versed in film photography, from 35mm to large format. And I’m as good in a darkroom as I am with Photoshop. With that said, the cost of film, processing plus scanning will cost more, but if you have a thing for film I’m happy to oblige.
I sure do. Every couple should have an archival-quality wedding photo album so you can look back on your wedding day whenever you want. I’m always shooting my own family, and I’m always printing photos and making new albums, both soft and hardcover. I guess you can always pull up your digital files on your phone or tablet, but being able to reach for your printed photos and albums is a much richer experience, if you ask me.
